“Be Ageless, Be Fearless: A Retirement Story of Passion & Purpose”

8.5 years ago, I stumbled upon SeneGence, which completely transformed my path to retirement. Today, at 76, I’m still thriving, and I’ve learned the secret to staying young – keep your mind engaged and always keep learning! had no clue what I was stepping into. 

Seven years earlier, I had dabbled in direct sales with minimal success, except that I became a walking testament to the products, losing weight and feeling great.

Retirement wasn’t about leading a team for me—I had already done that in my corporate career. I wasn’t the type to go live on social media or take selfies. I preferred staying in the background, even though I was quietly getting things done.

But look at me now….

In the past 8.5 years, I’ve accomplished things I never thought I would, or could, especially in my retirement. I needed a push, but now, there’s no stopping me. I’ve learned how to overcome fear, and show up for myself so that I can show up for others.

I’m now an Area Leader, and I  love it. My passion is teaching and sharing knowledge.  Whether I’m hosting a makeover, a makeup workshop, a skincare clinic, or a spa night, it never feels like work—it’s all about helping others and making it fun!

I’m constantly pushing my boundaries, learning, and refining my skills. Every year, I challenge myself to earn a new certification. It started 4 years ago with my Seneblends Makeup Certification, Elite Makeup Certification, Seneskin Certification, and Colour Theory Certification, and I just completed my Ruby Makeup Certification..

Last year, I took a bold step and joined The Modern Direct Seller, which has accelerated my growth in ways I never imagined. The community and support have been beyond amazing. Who would’ve thought that at my age, I’d be doing all of this? I’m stepping out of my comfort zone, but with all the encouragement and support, it’s been a blast! 

We just wrapped up a 3-hour retreat that reignited my motivation. I now have my 90-day plan completed; I am working on my content strategy, and am focusing on key weekly milestones.  I always worked day by day.

This journey has given me far more than just a business—it’s given me confidence, lasting friendships, and a renewed belief in what’s possible.

I’ve created unforgettable memories and met incredible people who’ve impacted me in ways I can’t fully express. Most importantly, I’ve proven to myself that I’m capable of so much more than I ever imagined.

One thing I’ve learned for sure is that success isn’t reserved for a certain kind of person. You don’t have to be the loudest, the youngest, or the most fearless. You just need to start. Surround yourself with people who push you, believe in you, and remind you that your dreams are within reach.  If I can do it, so can you.
