Week 1: My Life Reset Journey Begins
If you read my earlier post, you know I decided to redo the 12-week program that first transformed my health back in 2021. That journey helped me sleep better, feel more energized, and yes, I lost weight, but more importantly, I gained clarity and confidence I hadn’t felt in years.
Starting over with confidence, this time, I knew exactly what to do. I wasn’t guessing. I wasn’t overwhelmed. I was ready. After some emotional setbacks and holiday indulgences, my body was telling me it needed a reset. And this past week, I listened.
Week 1 Wins:
I just wrapped up Week 1, and I’m down 4.6 pounds. That alone feels so encouraging, but what I’m even more excited about is how quickly my sleep is starting to improve again. I’m waking up fewer times at night, and I already feel a little lighter on my feet (and in my mood).
I am sharing my before-and-after pictures from my first round here, (Day 1), as well as (Week 1), just as a reminder of what’s possible.
My Starting Stats For those of you who like to follow the full journey, here are my starting measurements. Yes, I am being vulnerable here.
- Bust: 36″
- Arms: 13.5″
- Waist: 33″
- Hips: 41″
- Legs: 39″
I’ll re-measure at the end of the 12 weeks and share my progress.
Why This Is Not a Diet
This isn’t about restriction or counting calories. It’s about choosing anti-inflammatory, healing foods that support your body from the inside out. I’m eating real food, feeling satisfied, and most importantly, not feeling deprived.
