My 2026 Life Reset – Week 2: Living with Intention

Here we are at the end of Week 2, and I’m feeling encouraged, grounded, and proud. When I started this 12-week reset, I set up an accountability chat with others doing the same thing, and we are keeping each other grounded.  Accountability partners can really help you if you want to take action and avoid the easy road.  I chose to show up with intention. And it’s amazing how that one word continues to guide me through every choice.

Two Weeks In – Real Progress, Real Intention

I started this journey at 148.6 pounds, and today, I’m at 142.0, and  6.6 pounds down in just two weeks. But more than the number, it’s how I feel that excites me. My sleep is improving, my energy feels steadier, and my focus is sharper. My body feels like it’s starting to remember what balance feels like again.

A Small Moment, A Big Win

Yesterday, I was at an event where they served boxed meals. The food looked good, but it wasn’t part of my plan. I was hungry, it was late, and I could have easily justified just eating it. But I paused, took a breath, and reminded myself why I’m doing this. I chose to bring the meal home for my husband and waited until I got home to have what was right for me.

It might sound small, but that moment felt powerful. It was intention in action, choosing purpose over convenience, and following through with what aligns with my goals.

The Power of Choosing with Purpose

Every day brings little decisions like that, and those are the moments that shape this journey. This isn’t about perfection; it’s about progress. It’s about listening to my body and honouring the commitments I’ve made to myself.

Living with intention means understanding that each decision, no matter how small, adds up. Every mindful choice builds confidence, trust, and momentum.

What’s Next

I’m heading into Week 3 with gratitude, focus, and the reminder that intention is not a destination, it’s a daily practice. My goal next week is to stay centred, stay prepared, and continue choosing what supports my energy and health.

If you’re following along on your own journey, remember: the small wins are the big wins. Each time you honour your commitment to yourself, you create a ripple of change that goes far beyond the scale.

Let’s keep living this year with intention, one choice at a time.
