Reset with Grace:
Week 3 Weight Loss Update
This week’s update is coming to you a little later than usual, but hey, life happens, right? Even though I usually send these out on Mondays, I’m giving myself grace and sharing my journey as it unfolds, not as it “should” be.
The Honest Truth About This Week
Here’s where I’m at: I’m officially down 1.2 pounds this past week, bringing my total to 7.8 pounds in 3 weeks. That’s something to celebrate!
Last weekend, we had our PIT (Princess in Training) event, and a few of us did a potluck. While I had gone down during the week, I noticed a little bounce back after that weeken, but the overall progress is still going in the right direction. And that’s the goal!
Why Grace Matters on This Journey
This is exactly where “reset with grace” comes in. I didn’t let one weekend throw off my mindset or motivation. I’ve already seen what’s possible, and I know how to keep moving forward.
This program has taught me what works. I’m learning how to navigate life’s real moments, make adjustments, and give myself grace without giving up.
Looking Ahead: Vacation Plans & Smart Choices
This Friday, I’m heading to our timeshare for a vacation, and my plan is to enjoy it, mindfully. I haven’t had a drink since I started, and honestly, I don’t even miss it, but I may have one while away, and that’s okay.
I’m packing things so I can stay on track without feeling restricted. Monday night is members’ night at our resort, and they always serve delicious dishes, though it’s often fish, which I don’t eat. But they also have a huge charcuterie board (my weakness!), so I’ll plan ahead by having something before I go and enjoying a little without overdoing it.
Final Thoughts & Encouragement
If there’s one thing I’ve learned this week, it’s this: progress doesn’t have to be perfect to be powerful. A 1.2 pound loss in a week filled with real life is proof of that.
So wherever you are in your journey, remember, it’s okay to reset. Do it with grace, not guilt. Keep showing up for yourself. You are worth it.
I’d love to hear how your week went too. Did you have a win or a reset? Hit reply and share it. I’m cheering for you!
