How I Unexpectedly Found My Passion—and a Whole New Purpose

Hi, I’m Diana Winsor. I’m 76 years old, and for the past 8.5 years, I’ve been living a chapter I never expected to write. Retirement was supposed to be about slowing down, but instead, it sparked a brand-new beginning.

🌿 The Start of Something Beautiful

After years in the corporate world, I thought I was done. Then I stumbled across SeneGence—and everything changed. I had tried direct sales before, but nothing fit. This time, it felt different. The products worked. I felt and looked better, and people noticed.

I never saw myself as someone who would take selfies or go live on video. I was more comfortable behind the scenes. But little by little, I grew. What started as a small step turned into a purpose-driven business that has filled my life with connection, joy, and growth.

They say retirement is about rest. It’s been about rediscovery, staying curious, keeping my brain sharp, and proving that learning and evolving don’t stop with age.

💄 From Quiet Encourager to Confident Leader

Leadership wasn’t new to me.  I’d led teams in my previous career. But I never imagined that I’d be a leader in my 70s in beauty and wellness. Yet here I am, proudly leading as an Area Leader, empowering other women to feel confident inside and out.

I now host spa nights, skincare clinics, and makeup workshops—not because I have to, but because I love to. Helping others discover their beauty, find their confidence, and embrace their ageless journey has been one of the greatest gifts of my life.

And I’ve continued to learn and grow, achieving several certifications along the way:

👑 A Moment That Touched My Heart

In March 2025, something very special happened—I was nominated for Ms. Synergy, the highest honour in our SeneGence Community. It’s not about team sales or titles. It’s about what you do beyond your team, how you give back, uplift others, and live with heart.

That’s something I deeply believe in. My husband and I are passionate about supporting our local community through causes like our local Food Bank, DARS (the homeless), Animal Services, and 100 Women Who Care. Giving back is part of why this journey means so much.

🚀 From Overwhelmed to Organized

Last year, I made a bold move and joined the Modern Direct Seller VIP program. I’m not what you’d call “tech-savvy,” but I knew I needed tools and structure to grow. That decision changed everything.

Today, I have:

A 90-day action plan

A content strategy that works

Weekly goals that keep me focused

And yes—my very own website!

I went from winging it to working smarter.  It’s made me more confident, more creative, and more effective than ever before.
