At 77, I bought myself a purple witch hat. And you know what? I couldn’t wait to put it on! 🧙‍♀️

Now, some women might wonder why a 77-year-old would be getting excited about Halloween makeup, purple eyeshadow and a sparkly witch hat.

My answer?

Because I’m not finished having fun!

And neither should you be.

💕 Beauty Has Never Been About a Number

One of the things I’ve learned over the years is that confidence doesn’t come from looking younger.

It comes from feeling comfortable in your own skin, being willing to try something new and giving yourself permission to enjoy life.

When I joined SeneGence in 2016, I never imagined how much this journey would change my life.

What began with a love of skincare, makeup and sisterhood became something much bigger.

I discovered how much I loved helping other women see their own beauty and feel more confident.

And somewhere along the way, I became more adventurous myself!

At 77, I’m still learning, experimenting, growing and discovering new possibilities.

Your age never determines the size of your next chapter.

💋 Sometimes Confidence Starts with a Lip Colour

Last week, we spent time exploring LipSense and the wonderful world of colour.

And it reminded me of something I see so often.

A woman will look at a beautiful lipstick and say:

“Oh, I love that colour, but I could never wear it!”

Why not?

Who decided that certain colours belong to certain ages?

Of course, our skin tone, natural lip colour and personal preferences can change over time.

But that doesn’t mean we have to stop experimenting!

Sometimes a soft pink is exactly what we want.

Other days, a beautiful berry, a warm neutral or a bold red can make us feel fabulous.

And sometimes the colour we never thought we’d wear becomes our new favourite!

The goal isn’t to look like someone else. It’s to feel wonderful being YOU.
